Major Research Achievements

1. Developed mathematical models to understand and regulate the circadian clock's response to temperature changes and other factors, enhancing our understanding of biological rhythms.
2. Created mathematical models and pharmacology profiles for drugs to treat diseases associated with disrupted circadian rhythms, improving drug efficacy predictions.
3. First to prove the validity of the stochastic quasi-steady state approximation (QSSA) and developed methods to identify when and how to use it effectively in biological systems.
Discovered and corrected errors in the 4. FDA's drug interaction equations, significantly improving the prediction accuracy of drug metabolism and interactions.
5. Developed software tools for biological research, including models for biological oscillators and algorithms for Bayesian inference and stochastic analysis.
